I cannot answer the question cuz truth be told, I only want/hope my DS to be happy ALWAYS πŸ˜„

They can't survive in this world by solely being happy. One day when we are gone, they have to survive on their own and life is more than just being happy.

Becoming doctors would be nice. But doctors are always in contact with germs & virus, job hazard. So I’ve since changed my mind.

Jobs must be safe and ideally generate lots of income. I hope they become my 摇钱树 with decent occupations of course. Oh, I also hope they are super filial so that they wouldn’t mind splurging on me. Otherwise becoming big & famous also pretty useless

dd1 wants to be an author - I hope as successful as J K Rowling !
dd2 wanna be a super star pianist - I’m thinking Jay Chou !

I remember the following conversation with my son about 3 yrs ago:

Me: better be an architect when you are grown-up
DS: what do you do now?
            Me: why bother about me?
DS: If architect is so good, then why you don’t become an architect by yourself?

I respectfully disagree with you leh ....

You see, if they can be happy, that will be the impetus that will drive/enable them to survive in this big bad world, regardless whether they have a blue collar, white collar or no job πŸ˜„

                      My 2cents .....

Not OT hor, still talking about jobs πŸ˜‰
