2010 P1 Registration Exercise for 2011 In-Take

This scenario applicable only if you are a SAHP or you work near your home.Parents who registering your children in 2C and also in the near future, do consider the proximity to the school.
Last year, my son was hit by a basketball thrown by a P6 boy during his PE lesson. It was an accident, and fortunately not serious. His PE teacher called me and I went to school to pick him up. No parent wants this this to happen to our kids but 'touchwood', if it does, you will want to reach the school asap to bring your child home.
If you are able to register your kids in a school near home, do consider.
But that said, it makes sense to either move nearer to your school of choice or pick a school nearer to your home. Better still if the school is within walking distance. Forget something, still possible to walk back to get.

Didn't realize that results for Phase 2C are only released on 13th. That's a rather long wait and anxious week for parents. I wish you all the best. :xedfingers: this Friday the 13th could be a lucky day for you.tankee:
Ballotings for phase 2B were held on the result release day.
Thus, for phase 2C, it could be Friday the 13th. -

Oh yes, I forgot schools celebrate National Day that week :oops: sorry PM Lee, for forgetting 9 Aug...no wonder the result will only be known so much later. -

If registration closes on Wednesday 5th you should know if ballotting is required the same day or, at the latest, the following day. Ballotting will probably only take place after National Day though. -

It's cruel to put parents thru the long wait for balloting. I think most parents who need to ballot will not be himself/herself for the rest of the week. Too much of a tenterhooks.
Tomorrow is P2C first day of registration. Wishing all parents registrating the best of luck. Hope that the KSP probability table is wrong and all parents within 1km of PH don't need to ballot
