Does anyone has feedback or advice on Yangzheng school? We are doing PV in the school now for next year's registration and like to know the strength/weakness about the school... :?

Just came back from Rosyth. Must have about 100+ parents there!!! Reached there 8.20am & already my queue no. is 45!!! There will be balloting on 13 Aug, good luck to all other parents who are registering in this phase!!!

depending on the distance, right ? or those within 1 km also kena balloting ?

At this point, all kena balloting. Maybe they dun know the no. of applicants within 1 km yet. By end of Wed, they should know whether 1 km need to ballot or not.

U hv any idea out of 131 applications for Rosyth, how many are within 1km? Does this mean they have stopped accepting applications for those staying beyond 1km? Tks!

Hi Parents!


I'm pretty new to this forum..

Firstly congrats to those who successfully got the school they wanted!

I am also considering sending my girl to Rosyth when its her turn to go P1.. She is 3 this year but I think I will need to register by next year for PV... so need to do some serious thinking.

I'm staying within 2km of rosyth and am also an ex Kong Hwa girl.. so its either Rosyth or Kong Hwa..

Can someone pls share more info about both schools like their overall performance (both academic, CCA, achievement, enrichment programs if any..etc)?
I really want a school that balances on both academic and character building and not just focus on academic performance..

I might even move nearer to Rosyth if necessary hehe..

Hi parents,


I was told that if I choose not to go for the balloting next Fri, I can refer to the MOE website. I am just wondering if they will post the names of children who are selected? If not, then how do I know if I am successful or not in the balloting? :?

If I am unsuccessful, when can I register for ph 2C? Do I still need to wait for the letter or I'll know straight away whether I get a place in the 2nd choice of school? Thanks in advance for enlightening me :thankyou:
