Would anyone eat Rojak again?
-
Never fancy Indian Rojak. I like the normal rojak but come to think about it, the fruits & veg are also left in room temperature for a long time…think I will stay away from Rojak for quite sometimes.
-
I dont really fancy indian rojak but i would say its the best time to eat now right after this incident reason being indian rojak stall holder will be extra carefully, clean, hygenic with their food due to all the publicity & media that have been keeping watch on them now.
Usually we dont see incident occuring twice in a roll ya. -
I think the stall owner will be in serous trouble, having claimed 2 lives…and another one in critical condition. To think I almost wanted to go into the food business…hehe. Yeah, food biz if not hygenic or clean enough…can kill people. Guess all the hawkers will be extra careful now.
-
I think the store owner must be so worried now. Other indian rojaks sellers are also cursing as they are affected by fear of indian rojaks now.
On the other hand, hearing the news made me wonder what abt those road side stalls in Bangkok? Does people die from eating there? Or we are all so "clean" that we lose our immunity. -
hohoho...latest news, the person in coma died.

For the next 3 or so weeks anyway. After that, everyone will go on to the next big news and all this will be forgotten, people will start eating Indian Rojak anyway. Trust me, humanity is like that. Very short attention span and memory.....
Melamine? What's that?
(Sorry don't mean to be mean about this, but it's the truth). -
You are right.. People have short attention span.
Melamine...what's that? can eat or not? i also don't know. -
i bet to differ as this case as it's quite localised. until it's proven that the cause is human err or overlooked if not it'll create some fear among us.
however, sad to hear 2 lives just gone like that.
hope the rest could recover soon and the cause of the death could b out soon.

Yeah, i like rojak lah…
I suppose the vendors
will be extra extra careful.
Mebbe not prepare so much
in advance and placed out in
open shelving space for too
long… Where there’s incident
there will be improvements in
place… Where there are mishaps
there will be cause for reflection…
I still went back to Prima Deli for
their cakes. Its yummy and rather
affordable. Suppose the one off
scare was enough to get it right
the following time… No one is
shy from mistakes and some
say "**it happens…" so sooner
or later people will get over it…
Besides for me, i believe in
2nd chances. It is unfortunate
that two of our fellow people
had to pay the price of this
lesson no doubt - with their
lives… so now, its in the light
of this, we hope more vendors
will not shortchange us customers
by serving everything stuff fresh…
On the other hand, had it been
me or my loved ones involved
in the unwanted mishaps, i may
have a different opinion to this
entirely…
I’m sharing prayers and thoughts
for the ones we have lost from this
unwanted tragedy… i am sure their
families are going through a rough
time recovering from this. -
By the way, sashimi…
Thought i read abt the KFC thingy earlier
(from your earlier posting, but think it was
removed…) Anyway, just to share with you
that after reading your "…why the chicken
always so meaty and stuff…" i went straight
to KFC and insisted on the meatiest meal!
Made me hungry leh…
