Ok, as at 4.15pm, total apps (<1km) at PHPP is 67, of which 9 are SPRs. A 70% chance for SCs. See all who are in the same shoes on 13 Aug and good luck.

They shouldn't cut one class this yr, then every parent within 1km will really be able to enjoy the long weekend & NDP

Any idea when Pei Hwa is going to change to single session?

44 vacancies. 67 applicants staying within 1km...it's getting really hot. So those staying 1-2km have to withdraw right ? Doesn't this scenario resemble Nanyang ?
Parents, all the best to you. -

If the school is indeed building a new complex for P1 & 2s, then what is the reason for cutting another class this year ?Jav:

There's really no more space in the sch's compound to house a new building, unless they get rid of the field. But this will be very sad for kids who like to play football. It's just not practical, imo. -

Removing the field is not a solution. I guess Pei Hwa is facing the same situation as South View. Capacity is bursting at the seams.janet_lee88:

If there is going to be a new complex, I wonder if there will be more classes for the benefit of those going to register in the future. -

Don't scare me leh. I was contemplating whether can squeeze another slot for ds to take taekwondo lessons during weekends, but in the end decided not to. But after hearing you, must re-consider
No need taekwondo, just watch Ip Man and those fighting shows.
My P3 boy recently got into two fights- in sch hall (cos some classmates teased him) and on sch bus (a boy poked him with a sharp object and caused some bleeding on his thigh).
I hv banned all fighting shows (even cartoons) :x
Btw my P3 boy is only 1.25cm tall and weighs 22kg. But his fist can be painful (according to my elder boy). -

Just to share my thoughts.janet_lee88:

This year, PH has cut down by 1 class of 30pax. To be able to achieve single session, aside from building extra compound, the other way is to cut down classes as years goes. Which will takes a few more years to achieve to single session.
