It's not stated how long, but I don't think there is any minimum becos 2A2 is open to all old students (who didn't join alumni presumably).

I think the principal din expect that too, he even said w/in 1km all shld be in during the open house since last yr onli outside 2km need to ballot.

For a child whose parent is a former student of the school and who has joined the alumni association as a member not later than 30 Jun 2009

So you must have joined the alumni for more than a year before registration.
