      Free YOG tickets

Saw this morning a banner at Teck Ghee CC
stating dat free tickets (while stock last) are available for the
      Singapore vs Zimbabwe football game.

Nice picture of Minister Ng in the ST today.

But the torch looks like it’s not lit in the rain.

Tradition dictates dat the Olympic flame should be relayed
unbroken from its birthplace in Greece to the Games venue.
I know there is always a standby lantern which holds the flame.

Anybody knows if the torch is designed to shield
        the flame from the rain?

Put the 2 mascots on your head and wear your RI PA T shirt so I can recognize you. πŸ˜‰

Either I'm too sensitive but your sentence hints of sarcasm, is that really necessary when I was just voicing how cute the mascots were? And wat does the RI PA T shirt gotta do with YOG?

Wateva happens to the warm, familiar feel of this forum. 😞

                        Hiya Sparky, no sarcasm intended.
My reply follows from your post.
Hope your infectious spirit for YOG could rub off on other forummers mah.
                        Your enthusiasm for RI shows.
How else to spot u in the crowd?[/quote]My post didn't mention anything about RI. There're more enthu NJC parents around. I was right in not posting much about RI, sensing that something like this would pop up soon.
