Yeah yeah, I recall. Think it was in the sushi and steamed minced pork thread ...

 maybe he's one of those exceptional NA males who can cook .... or like my DH, who can't cook, but can dictate what goes with what in a dish šŸ˜„

Okie, now that this has been sorted out .... I'd like to share my 'findings' of this word that has generated some interest.

No, I am not here to pour oil into the fire. Please do not misunderstand my intention. Its just that the use of the word ignited an interest in me cuz I majored in English and American Lit and the use of words have always fascinated me - but of course šŸ˜„

Once again, I am just here to plainly share and perhaps enlighten/educate, just like I have been, recently.

What I found is that the word \"orgy\" may not necessarily be associated with negative connotations. Its just that we have been exposed to it being used in the negative sense, hence we tend to have that notion about the word.

Below are some synonyms/definitions associated with the word 'orgy', both negative and positive, for those who are interested.

                http://thesaurus.com/browse/orgy?__utma=1.279392324.1281278281.1281278281.1281278281.1&__utmb=1.6.9.1281280037999&__utmc=1&__utmx=-&__utmz=1.1281278281.1.1.utmcsr=%28direct%29%7Cutmccn=%28direct%29%7Cutmcmd=%28none%29&__utmv=-&__utmk=168460833

Once again, I reiterate that I am only here to share what I have learnt, personally. šŸ˜„

Definitely! Now you mentioned it, wonder why they picked this name in the first place?

Actually why don't we call YOG simply the \"Youth Olympics\". No misunderstandings at all. When I first saw \"YOG\", I was thinking of yoga or yogurt šŸ˜‰

                      is dis right?

I felt indignant when I chanced upon dis.

Dis food was served to YOG volunteers.
It was reported in d press dat d athletes were served
a good wide range of food buffet style at YOG village.
SFI won a SGD5.5 mil contract to cater meals for YOG.
                      If we add 3,600 athletes + 1,500 officials + ~ 2,000 volunteers
                      and SFI caters 3 meals x 14 days x 7,000 headcount,
                      3 meals/day + supper, tea break = S$55/day

Do u think d food served + dessert + drink is worth dat price?
If athletes + officials get served better food,
Why r our own volunteers treated dis way?

                      Can 😢

:!: The food looked lack in nutrition value if this was served to the volunteers.
