I had the same interpretation also. I thought at 1 stage, they stop accepting individual membership.

Yes... me too. i called SBF before for a friend. It appeared that they only accept organisation (eg. temple) membership but not individual.

Paying (as the web link suggested) seems a prettty \"easy way out\" to get a place in MBS then since there are no balloting in Phase 2B in the last 2 years.

xy_2005, you want to join SBF so that you can enrol your child in Maha Bodhi?

Partly Yes, for next year 2012 registration. Plus also to enrich myself.

Hi..I submitted last fri because my boy wanted me to do it before the long weekend. My answers to the survey is the same every year.

Btw, the kids do not need to bring school books to school at all this week? Wonder what they will do in school. Must be a fun week of learning since no text books needed.

Anyone can advise if school bus operators ferry children for CCAs?

My child will be taking the school bus to and fro normal days but for days with CCAs, do they arrange for early pickups at extra charge?

I think the school bus do but I am not sure if it is a standard practise. Eg. the P3 has to stay back later on wednesday for buddhist study and malay class. I know the uncle will send them back and we have to pay additional $5.

Meanwhile for CCA that ends later, I know some of them actually take the 6.20 together with P1/P2 kids.

Seems like a fun and exploratory week for the kids.

They came back with projects each night. My P3 had to do a new generation board game and was excited about it.

Meanwhile for my P2, he was preparing for his \"presentation\" till quite late last night. He said the entire P2 have to go up the stage and do a presentation.

That sounds like good fun and exposure for them. :celebrate:

Err.... CA2 starting next week... :faint:

Yes for higher primary students who stay back late for CCAs on Wed and remedial lessons on other days but not for P1 & P2s who are going to school early for CCAs. You may still double check with the school bus auntie/ uncle.
