Agree with fruitplus that we should be proud of our kids as long as they have put in their best. My DH has always been telling our 2 kids, 'You don't have to be the best, just do your personal best. If you have done your personal best, you will have no regrets.' (sounds like William Hung, anyone remember him? 😉 )

PSLE is coming soon and I think the best thing to do is to put this DSA thing aside and provide emotional support our kids in helping them to focus on the upcoming national exams. It is the first time that our kids are facing this. Now is the best time to show our unconditional acceptance to our beloved 12-year-olds. :grphug: 💋

Let's cheer them on to do their best. :rahrah:
'You don't have to be the best, just do your personal best. If you have done your personal best, you will have no regrets.'

AppleCrumble :hugs: That's what I always tell my kids. My mum used to
said that to me. too.

Hi, everyone. Since this is a forum on DSA, some of you may like to know that someone has received a wonderful 'National Day present' from RI. See the 'Raffles Institution [*IP]' forum for more details....

All the best to all who have applied to RI... 😄

I think we should stop the comparsion btw GEP or non GEP. This forum should be for us to share and learn fm each other and to keep all posted on latest development. :?

If u are GEP - well and good and be proud of your achievement.
If u are non GEP - it's ok, what's the big deal. It's just a primary school qualification - study is a marathon - some run faster at the start, some go slower - so what 🙏 - life is already so stressful why make it harder for all the kids ... it's reaching the final pt that matters ..... no matter what our kids are - good / bad - they will always be our pride & we still love them. What if the table is turned, they ask- why others stay bungalow we stay HBD, why they VP, u manager - what is there to compare?

If u are good, u are good. Our self worth is not measured by just material gains but true happiness. My DS is not GEP - but I am so proud to be his mummy. Just do your best - so long u try your best .... its all that matter

I dropped the school an e-mail. This is the school's reply.
