Hi, i am just curious how is the balloting procedures. As they mentioned that the locals have 2 balloting slip but i dun quite understand.

My boy GOT THE SEAT AT JWPS his number was only called at the last 35persons. Heart poping all the way.... but is over now :boogie:

During the balloting, if your child is a SC, he/she will be given 2 balloting slips in the balloting box. Each ballot slip will have your child's name, and BC number, so as a SC, you will have \"1of2\", and \"2of2\". For PR, each child will only have 1 ballot slip only.


In that way, SC will have 2 ballots slips in the box, and this equates to 2 times the chances compared to PR (only with 1 ballot slip in the box). Hope this clarifies your doubt.

Lakeside Pri still has vacancies for 2CS as well. I heard good feedback on Juying, and about their robotics CCA. Probably the only setback is the distance, that is probably why not many select it as a first choice. You may want to consider. In addition, I would suggest you place your child in the waiting list for your school of choice. You never knows.

Just went thru MOE website, it seems that all the school in Jurong area doesn’t have Character Development awards except Rulang, shuqun and Lakeside primary school, and WG don’t even have it too… hmmm… i tot WG got the award also…
