Really? No school for the pm session as well? I thought PSLE Oral will be conducted in the morning and the PM session carries on as per normal. I remembered it was like this in the past. I'll check the memo when my dd brings it back. It will be nice if they have the break too but probably will have lots of homework which was usually the case when we have the long weekend hols.Parents, can start planning SA2 revision.
No school for kids P1-5 next week 19/20 Aug.
September
6/9-10/9 1 week holiday
10/9 Hari Raya Puasa
17/9 1-3pm for P1-2/ P3-5 No school -
P1/2 will not have to go to school on 19/20 August bcos of PSLE oral, but they have to attend school on 17 Sep from 1-3pm. At lower primary, school is still as per normal.
E3,
Your daughter will have more time at home from next year bcos of PSLEโฆso you can expect teachers to speed up teaching in the 3rd-4th terms. -

In the past, PSLE Oral and Listening used to be conducted on Sats. So good that they move it to weekdays now, P6 kids can carry on with their usual Sat activities.
I really hope she has more time next year. I believe everything will start to get tougher. -
hi all
I have been following this forum for some time and finally here's the good news.
My eldest boy got in ( through balloting Phase 2C today) to P1 for 2011
Really great to see the enthusiasm in this parents networking group for PHPP
See you all

Hi David,
Congrats to you !!! So your younger children will all be able to get into Pei Hwa under Phase 1...the environment must have been very tensed today.
Yes, Pei Hwa parent support group here is very strong. Welcome
Hi E3,
Yes, no school next week and long weekend for kids.
When your gal goes to morning session next year, she will have more days at home during Term 3/4 to prepare for her SA2. I would describe these additional days 'bonus' because subjects will get tougher and these 'bonus' days can be spent revising for those weak areas. -
This thread is very long now. Shall we do a content page so that we can find info faster?

I agree. Can be frustrating to find info. How do you think we should categorize ? P1 registration has its own thread. How about categorize into subjects/CCA ? -

I think maybe 1) Recommendations for tuition centres, 2) Study tips, 3) CA/SA scheduleJennifer:

This will be so appreciated! Have been trying to read from the start since a couple of weeks ago but 160+ pages is no easy feat. This thread is surely one of the most active!
Now that DS1 has been lucky and got in to this school, I will be even more determined to cover everything that have been shared here!
Thank you all for your advises before and your well wishes!
