2010 DSA(Direct School Admission)

After reading the above, I just gv HCI a call and was shock :!: to be informed that the emails was sent out end July whether successful or not. Anybody from this forum received ANY EMAILS.

:!: What? End July? Are they referring to JC DSA or Sec 1 DSA or Sec 3 DSA (don't know if there is one for Sec 3)?
No, didn't receive any email on this.

End July doesn't seem possible for Sec 1 DSA cos the date stated in their website is BY 20 AUG and for ALL CANDIDATES AT THE SAME TIME.
That's why I'm more inclined to what vk2010 posted but is just confused by what my DS's classmate claimed.

This seems to be a period of panic and heart attack. Cool down, ladies! Que sera sera....wait till 20 Aug as stated in website and not listen to too much gossip unless you are sure source is reliable.....take deep breath!

DS's friend very bad leh, got me anxious. He told DS he got a call from HCI yesterday.
I was like 'Huh, sure or not? Yesterday was Sunday.' He replied no reason for this friend to lie / play prank on them. Then I remembered someone also said received call from RI on National Day, so Sunday is also possible.
But what I don't understand is since vk2010 said the school last week said they will send email on 20 Aug, then how could DS's classmate got the call? Is it 20 Aug is the last date to send out emails (to rejected applicants) so as to ensure all are informed of the outcome by this date?
I thought even if the school really give CO over the phone, then they would have called the GEPers and SMOP and Sports successful applicants first since they took their phase 2 at an earlier date than those in other category. Why his classmates who took at a later date? Don't make sense...
