I love buying stuff for DW, stuff she likes to wear, and stuff I'd like her to wear, if you ladies know what I mean? 😉

The joy and reward I get back from her is many times the cost of the gifts.....so guys, wake up and get the givin' goin' 😎

How she does it? Express lotsa appreciation.....

Is it my training or maybe just me? DH used to buy me bouquets sometimes and I'll complain waste money (ask him to give me angbao instead...of course that never did happen). He got me a bracelet and I promptly lost it within a week (lucky not expensive type)

So now, anything I want, I'll check in with him. and if it's ok, then I'll just go get it. Works well for us. 😛

Drop hints…like surfing the net and leave the PAGE for him to ‘see’.

I usually initiate the task of surprising my dh. He's used to surprise me a lot when we were sweethearts but he's mostly busy right now with and I understand. He's reminding himself every time i surprise him with little things and gives back the favor whenever he can and we both appreciate those from each other. I guess it works that way for both of us. 😉

i say it outright what i want. he’s the type that says why need to celebrate those few special occasions coz to him it’s like jus another day which i totally DONT AGREE.

but he’ll go along with my wishes though. haha.

and presents wise… never much a surprise for me. he ask me what i want, i tell him, he buys. and i’m happy getting what i want.

My thinking is, rather I tell him then he buy himself. =.= 😎

                Sigh! 😞

My DH taste is very different from mine. So he knows he should not buy things for me without first asking me as it most probably will be a waste of his money! The most is that he surprises me by buying good food.
Anyway i am the type who don't like surprises.
So he has been having a good time all these years, without having to decide what to buy for me.
One day he bought a designer bag for me, which i did not like, my kids even commented that it looked old on me. So the bag ended up with his mum!

Ya actually you are right carebear. My hubby always buy me things that I don’t like. So now I go with him to choose. Don’t know why the men always pick things that look better on their mother.

Yeah, DH finally bought me something that i like - The iPad!

However it has fallen into the hands of my children.
Nevermind, i will wait until the frenzy has fizzled out, then i will be mine.

don’t expect anything from your hubby, eventually he will surprise you in the end. It happened to my birthday. he bought all the things I mentioned to him for the past few months!!! He remembered it all !! He bought me all the things I want, the color and the size was all perfect for me! He really surprised me!! He didn’t even celebrate / give me gift for my past 2 birthdays and 2 anniversaries. (still cannot believe it happened)

You sure your DH did not read this thread? :scratchhead:

For all that being said about my DH, he did something which, well, I'd say never made me feel as flattered. He put a candid shot of me on his mobile phone as wallpaper and said he liked that picture

It is so 难得 (hard to come by) coming from him.. I guess there are indeed room for surprises.. :please:
