I am sorry to hear that, but how can your friend get a place when your friend stays 1-2Km, and you are <1Km? Are you referring to the same phase? For balloting under the same phase, the priority goes to <1km>2km, so if your friend can get a place, so should you :? You may want to check and appeal to the school.

i'm still cant accept that my child didnt get a place in JWP even though we are just 1km away from the sch. and my fren which stay about 2km away , got the place there... how can it be????? errgghhh

Hi Xana79,

Sorry to hear that you didn't get a place, I have been advised by JWPS that there are 221 within 1km and 4 outside for balloting maybe your friend still consider staying within 1km to 2km

so now just have to go the next phase .. hopefully we can get our next choice which is Pioneer Pri... but at the same time we did consider Xingnan , but its too risky as its only left with 8 places. If let say , we still cant get Pioneer, where will MOE place my child to? out of Jurong area?[/quote]Hi Xana79,

Actually, what I understand is after Phase 2Csupp, MOE will then assign those who are still unsuccessful to the schools nearby with vacancies. If you are not happy with the school assigned and have another in mind (with vacancies), then you can try for Phase 3 which is first-come-first-serve basis..

e.g, 如果您在2cs 的学校ballot out, 您可以在该校拿form, 填上您所要的学校。您必须选三间. moe 会从您的first choice, second choice or third choice 来分配。比如您的first choice 是Juying, Juying 过了2cs 还有空额，moe 会分配您的孩子去Juying 的！
您的孩子会在phase 3 之前分配到学校的!
