There is a Pro-Teach studentcare at Kang Ching road, where my daughter is learning phonics now. So far she is quite happy to go there. Thinking to send her to the branch at BLK 519 as she is going to P1 at Rulang next year. Appreciate your comments after you drop by there.

Made an appointment with the principal and went down to register my child at Pro-teach @ BLK 519. A cleaning auntie was here to inform me that the principal couldn’t make it and asked me to come back again at the other time.

I don’t understand why the principal didn’t phone that she couldn’t make it for the appt beforehand. It would save some of my time by not going down all the way there and re-arranging my activities on Saturday. She has my phone number because we talked on the phone before.

Now I am thinking twice about sending my child there. It appears their so-called character building doesn’t include courtesy.

Anyone knows any other decent studentcare centre near Rulang?

Hi Sylvia, may I know if your kids is already in Rulang? Did you do PV? Is the school very stressful? Thanks for sharing!

p/s. I’m still considering my options for my Y2004 gal

                  Hi RR Mummy,

I was an ex student from Rulang Pri, so high chance of going into Rulang.
U should register for PV before end June, if u wish to send your daughter to Rulang in Yr 2010.

                  Regards,
                  Sylvia

Wow, so many people will envy you!! 😄 That's a guaranteed chance.

But may I know if it is really very stressful there? Can you share what you like about the school?

I'm assuming you will be sending your kid there right? 😉

I believe Rulang Primary School will be a good foundation start for my darling. Rulang has a long history and has been "producing"

                      many good students .

Haha. Most of my friends told mi that the students themselves are already very good before they go Rulang for Primary One. Naturally the best compete with the best. I heard its quite stressful during Primary 3 onwards.

My darling is very lazy, so he needs a really good push. He’s quite good in his school work and enrichment, but loves to play PSP and computer games. How’s yr gal?

                      Regards,
                      Sylvia

                        Hi Sylvia,

Sorry for the late reply.. MIA due to work commitments..

wow, if your boy can balance work with play that is great! Actually, I'm quite worried about the stressful part... don't know if my gal & I can take it.. Don't wish to be screaming at my kid or end up pulling all my hair out when coaching them.. 😉

My gal has short attention span. She definitely needs an emvironment which is interesting and involves active participation.. otherwise she will end up yackedy-yack all the time!! :x

Have you managed to find a good student care center nearby?
