Received CO fr RI on 17 Aug. Boy fr Mainstream. Over the moon now! Really thankful to GOD for the miraculous CO!
Was wondering what is the outcome for Ruyu.....have not heard from him for a long time on this forum. -

as for RI, some got CO via visual art (national talent type, solo exhibition type) -

Both are very good schools, but we prefer RI because it is nearer to our house and DS's Chinese is not that good.
I wonder if I call up RI to check what are the ranking criteria of their WLO, would they disclose?
I just re-read beginning of this thread. In the first few pages of this thread, someone said in Sep/Oct 2008 RI wait list only 10% vacancies (I wonder it is still the same?). HCI wait list group 1 is 70 to 80 vacancies, group 2 is less than 50. -

congrats![/quote]HCI is my son's first choice for the last 2 years, and he can walk there in 5 minutes from home
Not sure about the different list of wait list....should have hope, as many have said, many of the kids have offers from RI as well -
