My ds went for his first dental filling at 4 plus. Surprisingly he took it very well & was very cooperative. I was half expecting a screaming ordeal.

I don’t think SDC do braces - and if they did it’ll probably be at commercial rates.

              they do

and they could not keep the appointments and they inform you by post of the changes at the last minute

yes, commercial rates - more costly than some private braces specialists

Are you referring to the dentist by the name of Rashid ? I brought my son to see him. Not anymore, Rashid is TOO expensive.

                Hi janet_lee,

Could you pls tell me what are his charges like?

My SIL told me that he is VERY good with kids.

Can't remember exactly what his charges are but honestly, he's not that patient with kids. Paediatric dentists are supposed to be patient, but I don't find him so. That's my opinion.

It cost me $260.00 in total  Just cleaning.

Yes, he is good with kids.

Told me my daughter will need braces in the future. Small mouth, Big teeth. After reading how expensive things are here, I better start saving now!!

As to how young, well, I understand some say about aged 1.

I think, personally, that that it too early.

                    Could be wrong though…

I brought my DS to Raffles Dental twice and they are prompt and good…

Dr Rachael Chan is really good with kids, and their charges are reasonable.
