Hi, my 5yo boy rejected my breast and was formula fed all the way.

My 2yo latched on well and still still breastfeeding today.

Breats feeding is just WAY too difficult in my opinion. I’m a full time SAHM. It was hellish. In her early months, she’d suckle form 6-10pm.There was no escape.

If I were to do it again. I’ll bf for first 6-10 months, then formula till 1 yo, Then full cream milk. I dun understand why breastfeeding, though natural is so tough??!!!

So kudos to all bf moms!

Oh for a mom with both formula fed and breastfed children - my conclusion is they are not much different. Just in my own experience!

All mummies, Is there anything that you stop eating becos of breastfeeding?
Lamb. actually I stop eating since pregnant.
cos heard pregnant eat lamb will cause 羊癫风 ( fits ) or Body Odour.
not sure if same effect for breastfeeding but I certainly don't want my children to have B.O.

BF is a very personal choice , that's why not many people talk about it openly. I know of as many mums who do not breastfed their kids and as I said, its very personal so no matter how close I am to her, I do not ask her why etc....Frankly, i disliked it when I was BF no 1 and no 2 (they were BF for abt a year) but I enjoyed BF no 3 (for abt 1.5yrs)and no 4 (>2yrs now) very much.

I also do not agree that BF mums are kiasu and kiasi....I believe it is every mummy's desire to give the best to their child, be it breastmilk or a good school etc. BF comes with so much difficulties so mummies should not feel guilty if they can't do it....

ya...with the first kiddo, I kind of had to 'cos he had allergies to milk. After a while, it became super convenient...no hassle when travelling 😄 ...also I had support at the workplace and at home...so it became a normality!

I am also currently BF my no. 4 for just over 2 yrs now. DH kept asking me when am I stopping, I said "don’t know" cos’ it is really so convenient now esp in the mornings can just feed "in a daze" and nite when she will happily sleep after a feed.
