Seems quite a far bit of new regulations... from today's report... looks good on paper... but dunno how effective these will be... time will tell.

I'm happy to hear about the IP schools. Many schools have fought hard for it, spending alot of time developing their proposals and getting their school ready for the big change; only to be met with disappointment when they were rejected.

Even with more IP schools... I feel that we are going down the same path soon or later... with more parents/kids aiming to go into the more popular and well-known IP schools...

Look at the sad state of nations in this world where this happens

And we can play our part in enabling non-populist approaches by not always expecting the gahmen to respond and accede to our requests.

Don't always expect goodies, don't always expect subsidies, and just because we don't get them doesn't mean the gahmen doesn't hear us, they just choose not to agree.

As a nation/people, we will get the gahmen we deserve. I.e. If we are soft and unwilling to make sacrifices for longer term, then this is the type of gahmen we will put into office. If we are self-serving, unwilling to take some pain for the greater good, this is the type of gahmen we will vote in.
