If you think about it, with this move, the current top 5 JCs (RIJC, HCJC, NJC, TJC, VJC) all have affiliated IP sec. It will get harder to get in to these JCs via "O" Level results.

I hope the principal of CHS is following this thread closely. There is plenty work lined up for him, to prepare his boys. Multi-tasking and Time management skills must be incorporated into the school curriculum asap. The consequences of lacking such skills is unthinkable. 😉

you really meant \"multi-tasking\" as in two timing the girls.....be honest lah ...

Yalor such big management terms for 劈腿....... still like Chinese better...succint and to the point...

We, the kiasuparents of Singapore, worry about everything under the sun.
Regardless of academic, sports, or bgr, to develop a sensible child,
based on values and EQ, so as to achieve happiness, prosperity and progress in our children.

where is Dunman High....(and the maybe less famous RV), i think Dunman High dey should be after VS/CGS/VJC or around there IF they doing \"A level stream\"? i personally thing the Cath High, St Nics and SCGS marriage plan has too much uncertainty & unknown - and maybe wouldn't be a good alternative vs RI and Hwa Chong family... so best dont rank it as above NJC or TJC 1st.....

How can I forget them?! I am not doing any ranking...just categorisation.

          I try again:

          A Levels
          1. RI/RGS-RI(Pre-U)
          2. HCI/NYGS-HCI(Pre-U)
          3. VS/CGS-VJC
          4. CHS/SNGS/SCGS-New JC

          5. Dunman High
          6. River Valley High

          7. NJC
          8. TJC

          9. NUS High

          BI
          1. ACSI/MGS-ACSI(Pre-U)
          2. SJI

NUSH is not doing A level lah, theirs is inhouse diploma

it is called IB, not BI for ACSI/MGS/SJI[/quote]rectified...

The new idea is open the main door alot bigger, then don't even need to care if there is a backdoor anymore....narrow or no narrow... 😉

                  Bukit Panjang High Govt
                  Chung Cheng High Main
                  Crescent Girls
                  Nan Chiau High
                  Nan Hua High
                  Tanjong Katong Girls
                  Xinmin

i think it depend on how many njc and tjc take in at sec 1 ip...
vjc ip (sec 3) - i heard 1/3 of them are from vs, and the other 2/3 mostly from girls' schools like cedar
