U want to type 2015 right?
yes, typo error, shd be 2015
aiyo... like that my dd with be affected as she will take her psle in 2005.php:
My dd was not in school last Friday. However she mentioned a couple of weeks back that her FT told the class that they will be placed in a holding school in 2014 (my dd's P6 year ). Mrs Foo could have announced an updated plan on Friday during my dd's absence.
If it's like what comfy's dd had mentioned, the school would have completed reno and be ready for single-session by 2016 (government's plan) within that two years.
markfch, hopefully by 2016, the school would have gone single-session and your ds's PSLE should not be affected.

2016 is the year ALL primary schools have to go single-session.
I am waiting for confirmation now - which year is Pei Hwa moving to temporary holding school ?
Hi markfch,
Thanks for the clarification.
P6 students are exempted from NDP previews and other events which affect their supplementary lessons and revision for the most important exam b4 leaving primary school. -

Thanks E3. Even though I don't wish ds's psle yr to be disrupted by relocation, I also don't wish it to happen for your dd's psle yr too.My dd was not in school last Friday. Hi E3,
So it’s 2014 that Pei Hwa is moving to temporary school ?
We all don’t wish one another’s kids to be affected by the move during PSLE. Let’s pray hard lah, but 2016 is the year ALL primary schools have to go single-session. So, it looks like we can’t escape one way or the other. -

or they build a grand new one some where and relocate forever ? -

Uhmmm....that's what I last heard from my dd but the year doesn't seem to correspond to the year Jennifer's ds mentioned. It's better to wait for clarification from other parents.Hi E3,

Thanks for \"looking my dd so up\".
Now, my turn to ask....
pardon me, what has GEP got to do with parents being stressed? Hehe.
Parents are stressed because they WANT their child to be in GEP. I am not stressed lah cos I will let God decide on my girls' giftedness. GEP is just a programme, but every child is gifted in their own unique ways.
Furthermore, besides ACS and perhaps St. Hilda's, which nearby GEP primary school is founded in christian values? None. The whole idea of getting my dd into PH was its firm foundation in christian values and stability in achieving good academic results yearly. I will not trade PH for another school. We believe that it can provide my dd with a conducive learning environment. She has blended in nicely already. She's going to stay put in PH till PSLE, and won't be affected by The Move. Different story after PSLE, but as long as she's still a child, we'll try to keep her in an environment that she could grow in her faith.

You're also right about me seeing your dd so up. My tongue-in-cheek suggestion of using GEP to avoid the relocation at P6 for your dd is not really that tongue-in-cheek you know . -

I am looking forward to this but chances of not moving back is very low. Believe the sch wants to be as near to the Church as possible.

Pei Hwa present premise is convenient and school is really beautiful…I wouldn’t like the idea of moving away. Just looking at it gives one a ‘wow’ feeling.
