Mrs Ang,
Other than new sign ups, those who want to buy the iphone 4 have to receive the letter from telcos to inform them they can recontract.
I don’t mind waiting, in fact may not even want to be the first batch to buy new model of iphone.
My present 3gs was bought in April this year after resisting for a long time…my complaint is battery runs out fast, esp when I play games and resolution not sharp. -
janet_lee88:
Are you currently on data plan? or something like the ioneplus?
My Singtel plan for upgrade is in October but I am planning to wait until end of the year for the white. I prefer the white. If there is no urgency, then wait until year end.
If yours is MIO plan ( SNBB + Fixed line + mobile) with 12 mths upgrade, it may not be possible switch to a dataplan or iphone iFlexi plan.. fyi.. -

I am not going for dataplan because I do not surf Net outside...furthermore with a battery which drops so fast, I won't consider getting a data plan either.

Will still wait for white iphone 4 but rushing to get one even when it's out because of the teething problems like what LKVM mentioned. No hurry lah, afterall can't use Face Time outside. -

Thank you Duriz...
However have been hearing some bad reports as well for the iPhone 4 that the signal quality is not so good xian...
Will wait for the next batch to arrive!!!
===================================
what I previously posted :
wait for them to announce that they have fixed the bug
they have recently hired some people to resolve the issue
the problem is more serious / troublesome than they want to admit (as usual)
Now my old phone died on me, and out of desperation, and being out of mobile phone contract, managed to walk in an M1 shop, ON THE SPOT grabbed a 32G iPhone4....have been using it for two weeks now, SO FAR SO GOOD, email, overseas conference call on speaker mode, blue tooth sync with car's audio system ok, battery life 2 full days.....and FREE phone (of course in exchange of a 24 months contract la)
anyway even for normal plan, still got to pay a few hundred$$ for the phone, plus data charges, subscription charges, projected usage for the 24 months ....averaged out to be quite the same as signing up from the $98 per month plan but got the phone for FREE (me cheapskate la) and no upfront payment at all -

There has been too much hype about the poor connection. I have been monitoring my 3GS…sometimes I don’t see full bar (connection) but still manage to call and speak to other party without problems.
If you have not bought any iphone yet, then walk into M1 and satisfy your craving.
