hi nonKiasu, where did you buy your sisen? I bought it from EYS. Very cheap leh, around $8-$10 for a jar (like the normal jam jar size).

My ex-colleague recommended me and bought it for me. I think its bec there are 4 ingredients: si sen, pao shen, dong cao and mai zai. After this, I think I will just buy the si sen only like yours.

Is it 'workable'? Where to buy and how much?

thanks for the info, no wonder much more x becos of pao shen and dong cao (cordyceps right?). The EYS one is purely the si sen powder.

yes, cordyceps (in long, dong chong xia cao). But si sen alone will increase the appetite, rite? So don't need so much 'tonic', isn't it?
Btw, my ex-colleague bought for her grandson. She's working to past-time only. So guess she is rich to buy such expensive tonic for his only grandson. I can't afford to follow her 'standard'.

Yah, same here, very siong on our pockets if I include cordyceps.

Just to share, my son is having very good appetite still & I did not realise that he gained so much weight until I injured my shoulder while carrying him last night… Now my shoulder is so painful! Can’t drive…

Really :!: Congrats! I mean to the weight gaining part. I am sure this is a happy injury 🙂 What is the wt b4 taking the tonic and now? How long have your son been taking it? What is the ingredient? I am thinking that if just si sen alone is not effective, I will have no choice but buy the expensive one lor.
It's so exciting and happy for u.
