I have yet to get a car kit/holder. You mean it will turn on the bluetooth automatically when you turn on the radio?
Which Car kit are you using? I heard the iPhone 3GS car kit is not compatible to the iPhone 4 .. so I have been waiting.
Meanwhile, I just bought a Plantronics bluetooth handfree for driving. -
Hubby has Android phone. Yesterday he was playing with my iphone 3gs and said the keypad is friendly. I told him Iβve yet to send an email/sms without making any mistakes unlike Nokia. Still thinking whether to move on to the iphone 4 next mth.

the car audio already has set up for bluetooth phone and an ipod connector. just leave your iPhone4 bluetooth turned on, and then turn on your car audio, press the phone button, follow the menu to search for phone, and pair it up, that's it. henceforth everytime you turn on the car audio, it will connect to the iphone4, you can leave the iPhone in your pocket or handbag, speak through the car audio system, i think the mic is located around the rearview mirror, near the driver's visor, above the steering wheelverykiasu2010:

you can also pair up with nokia phone with bluetooth, except that for nokia phone, every time the car audio finds it, you still need to press \"accept\" on the nokia phone when it connects to the car audio -

One of the main reason that I swap to iPhone was the \"touch interface\"
It was very good, unlike my HTC which cannot detect the touch properly -
