My present 3GS is also white…it has a rather classic look and so reluctant to get the black iphone 4.

some time they also use it to communicate with classmates due to project work etc etc

I buy the cheap nokia costing around S$60 - S$80 each, using prepaid card so that you can 'control' or manage the usage; and if it is lost or stolen, no heart ache no big loss, just get a replacement phone with a new number lor ....

Same here, I also bought the cheaper nokia phone with a prepaid card - no frills, not even camera... for my P4 boy. He hardly even uses it, it's more for me to reach him if he has to stay back in school for suppl class or meetings.

My son is lazy to use the home line to call his friend sometimes. So I threatened him I’ll confiscate it if he continued. He is eyeing my 3GS but I told him NO WAY. Will be terminating his line when expire and switch to cheaper line.

Hubby said there's no difference for me getting the white or black because I put a cover and can't see the colour...but I told there is a difference because 'it can't pass my test'. I feel that if there is a choice between 2 colours, I will choose a colour which is more GIRLIE.
