        >Limlim’s second reply: -.- I should have put that in my signature. But i cant attach a signature, even though this is phpbb.

        >limlim’s first reply: I doubt it was an accident. I changed at the usual time and closed my door. My maid is a Christian. and the way she talks to me makes me further doubt that it was a simple ‘accident’.
        >Angelight: Can’t agree more.

My second maid from Lampung! When I told my first maid, she also goes \"Urp!\"

I ask why? She said \"stubborn\". Dunno how true is this. But so far the new young Indon. maid quite OK.
          :celebrate:

My maid from Lampung is crude, ill-mannered and terribly unrefined as compared to the Java maids I had. From what I recall, my first maid ever told me that 'Mam, don't get Lampung maid. They very rude'. It's rather true. When my (Lampung) maid first brought my daughter to playground at parents' place, the others approached her and when they found that she is from Lampung, they all avoided her.

My maid was :? how come they all avoided her...I personally saw the other maids talking among themselves and ignoring her.

My mum's new maid is great. Working well w my maid.

Think those that come from Surabaya training centre like the both of them are better!

I think maids from Java are much better than those from other parts of Indonesia. If you can avoid, try NOT to get maids from Lampung.

Yup, I hd 2 young ones frm Lumpong b4,,, smart bold and very very stubborn. I promised myself never to take Lumpong again.

Hi Snowman…aside frm yr maids rudeness, I think she is quite responsible with her work, honestly, its really very hard to get a maid to mop twice a day… I know it can b kind of irritating when we are in the room but she is keeping the room clean while perhaps u guys hv been messing up. I dunno how old yr sis is but as a mother myself, I rather she give my child wat she wnts than to hv her threatening and abusing her. There are many maids that threaten and beat kids in order to stop them frm crying.

My girl is 10 and just like u, she cant stand the maid wiping the floor when she is in the room too… neither does she like her homework or text books to be touched. Ive told my maid to wipe her room when shes not in and not to touch her worksheets… ive also told my girl to put her things back properly if she does not want the maid to "mess things" up for her.
I agree yr maid is rather rude and u really deserve some privacy. I guess u shld speak to yr parents about her attitude and how u feel, see wat they can do about it yah? 😎

Our First Indonesian Maid was from Lampung. She was living like a QUEEN with us. She was bad in household chores, our house was stink and messy for around 2 years. She sat in front of the Television for almost 14 hours a day. She was not required to take care of our baby at night and yet she had to take afternoon nap because she stayed up late to watch the midnight show. The food she cook sucks, not edible at all. When we had party at home, she will mixed around with other Indonesian Maids and simply forget about our baby. Our friend saw it and feedback to us \"How come your maid behave more like your guest?\"

Our Second Indonesian Maid was from Surabaya. She is stubborn, bossy, full of excuses, greedy....etc. She do not following instruction, she only do what she think is right. Whenever we went marketing or shopping she will make us buy a lot of excess stuff, due to both me and my husband are working therefore we didn't really take note what is shortage at home. She even demanded us for a paid increase as she complained that she got tonnes of tasks. (our current filipino maid has been working for us for almost a year but we did not receive any complain from her)

Afterwhich, we had decided not to employ Indonesian Maid again as we listed them as problematic and love to complain.

My 2nd maid was from Lampung...her cooking sucks. When I had some gatherings with my friends, she was gossiping and mixed with friends' maids instead of doing her work. After everyone left, I have to remind her clean up :x

Then I got a replacement maid because this lousy one was on my nerves and gone beyong my tolerance level. The replacement maid refused to cook because with her prev employer, she doesn't have to cook at all. Her employer will buy lunch and dinner for her. I don't need maid to look after baby, if she doesn't cook, then what is a maid for ?

                      Janet,

I think some of the maids are merely here to have fun or to see the world. And for Myanmar Maids, we are their stepping stone for them to find a job in local hospitals.

During interview, all maids will definitely say \"YES\" to all questions. eg. \"Do you know how to cook?\" \"Do you know how to operate electrical appliances ?\"....etc. After arriving at our place, everything don't know.

Once I choose a maid whose portfolio indicate she is not afraid of dog, but she shivered after she saw our dog (SHIH TZU) then she told us she is afraid of dog.

Well..... I believe employing a maid depend all on our luck.

We spend so much time and money on them still should have lucky genes to have good maid :stupid:

                        Sadly.
We've had ONE good maid and 6 horrendous ones.
I cannot even begin to get into their \"antics\" here.
Nonetheless, we currently have a local PT maid come in the morning.
But she will be going away in December to help someone with her confinement, as she is a confinement lady as well. Cannot break her ricebowl, she does make more money being a confinement lady than helping us PT everyday.
I may very well quit my job and become a SAHM again instead of getting a new FT maid.
Just to illustrate: MIL treated one of our previous so well that when I tried to correct the stubborn mule's mistakes, she said to me:\"Ah Ma treats me like her daughter but you always scold me!\" :x My retort: \"I hired you here to work, not to have Ah MA fall in love with you and make you family. Do you think I go out everyday for a massage and tea with the ladies? I go out to work so you can get your pay every month!\" :x
