Hi Bekithia,
I sent you a PM to seek your advice on Tokyo free & easy trip.
Hope you can help me.
Thanks,

From our initial planning for Free and Easy Osaka region, we’ve realised that its a little trickier than Tokyo side…
First off, most of the websites for Ryokans there don’t have any English version/translation… having a little difficulty finding one…
Also, this region seems like got a lot more to see and do… there are places like ports, deer park, gardens, more rustic… even mountain hiking… abit of a dilema now on activities… transportation also a little different… hmm… -
We did a free and easy trip to tokyo and osaka.I think its ok, not hard to move around.
However, for this dec hokkaido trip, we are taking a tour package.Reason is being winter and has to move from place to place and I think its quite hassle if I move on with the kids. Moreover, its winter, the day is short and so worried what If I got lost…so, to be on the safe side, we give up going free and easy during the winter.I guess, during summer, its ok to do self drive in hokkaido, esp gps is so accessible.
Cheers -

Hi you may like to check this out.Hi all, I'm planning a family vacation to either Tokyo or Hokkaido. Never been to Japan so not sure if we should go free and easy or packaged tour? Appreciate some advice from those who have been there.
Which is more interesting as a family holiday with a young child? And when is a good time to go? Any advice is most welcome!

Hi all,
We are planning for a family trip to Tokyo/Osaka this Nov. After 2 wks of research on hotel rates & accessibility, finally firm up the accommodations. Here's th eoutline of our itinerary:
Day 1: Arr Tokyo am
Day 2: Tokyo
Day 3: Hakone, stay one night
Day 4: Back to Tokyo
Day 5: DisneySea
Day 6: Disneyland
Day 7: Leave Disneyland for Osaka
Day 8: Day trip to Kyoto or Nara
Day 9: Osaka
Day 10: Leave Osaka @ 6pm
Now filling in the activities, hope to share some tips here.
Can anyone advise where else can we visit around Puroland Sanrio? Reckon that the journey there is quite long, not worth the travelling time just to go to the theme park. DH will be bored Hahaha... -
Hi Parents, I have a list of qns, that I hope I can seek assistance on. Going tokyo next year, and I like to plan way way ahead

We Arrive @ haneda at 9pm.
1) will the luggage forwarding companies b still open? we'll like to forward our luggage to the 2nd hotel.
2) for disneyland, can the 2 day passports be used for the same park? the kids aren't interested in Disneysea.
3) we r thinking of staying around ikebukuro, is it family-friendly? any advise?
4) Will there be any lockers @ ikebukuro station? so we can park our luggage while we walk ard on our last day?
5) what are the peak hours for trains? so that we can avoid them.
Thanks in advance!! -

Cannot. Disneysea is fun for kids, like Mermaid Lagoon, quite a few interesting rides/shows for kids. I also find the food generally better there. -

Do you have time to visit Sanrio? The itinerary looks very rush. It will be better if you leave out Kyoto/Osaka and just stay in Tokyo.Hi all,

Not sure how old your kids are but my family loved Disneysea as much as Disneyland. My girls were 8yo and 10yo when we went to Tokyo Disney. As mentioned by lwm99, Mermaid Lagoon is worth visiting. We also enjoyed Journey to the Centre of the Earth ride. We had a fantastic time when we were there.Mrsbongz:

thank u!! My kids will be 5 and 6yrs… DH n I were looking at the park map, and find that the stories etc, are not really what they have experienced or heard of. Plus I only have 7 days, and DH wants to spend 2 days in disneyland itself…
Will 1 day be sufficient for disneyland?
