        Hi Lizawa,

Not a problem at all. She is offered NJC and MGS.

          Hi mumoftwo,

I remember you were trying to decide between the two schools. Have you reached a decision yet? Is your dd going to MGS SBC? I hear very few places were offered for SBC so your dd did very well. πŸ™‚

No decision made yet, we are attending the tea session at MGS tomorrow, and visiting NJC on Oct 24th. My daughter wants to know as much as possible about both schools before making her decision. In reality, my husband and I are leaning towards one of the schools but we are also keeping an open mind, and will decide after the school visit. (Secretly I would really like her to go to a girls school and no boarding program if possible, I can't bear the thought of not seeing her everyday!)

And no boarding at a young age. πŸ™‚

                  Hi,

My impression is that girls are less successful in DSA than boys. Do you observe the same ?
Yes, i agree to this saying becos
from the PSLE results fr previous yrs, the girls do better than the boys.....
so in a co-ed school, \"the boys stand good chance of DSA\"
whereas the girls would get in via S1 posting and still the ratio is 2:1 (girls : boys)
last yr, there was a question brought out by one of the parents to DHS's Ex-P
during the open house \"why is the intake ratio of girls twice the boys???\"
