Just curious. In many parent-children relationships, does the end of PSLE mark the end of an era. Come sec sch, do kids still cling on their parents like my 6yr old ds is doing now?

not sure about other people's kids....from my observation on friends' kids and my DD, once past Pri 6, it is a new phase of life in a new school environment - sec school - sign of being \"grown up\", more independent, no more \"hand holding\" in school matters, let the kid know they are responsible to follow up with their own homework, ask for help only when absolutely needed; they decide their own CCA, they go about it on their own and getting what they want in school; initially we advise her to go see her teacher to negotiate etc etc....and in the church, they are also given more responsibilities as youth, so all these help them adjust to a new phase of teenage life. And, less tuition.

                      Hi

Don’t you all think its too much of pressure on kids at such an young age!

Anyway, this is the reality. All of us have to support them to stay cool and relaxed for the exams.

Good Luck to all the kids!
