markfch, is your throat all better now?
Thanks duriz. Yup, it got better after a long time (8 days). Will be going to IMM later to get some of the supplements that the other forummers recommended.

I'm also glad to report that a few of the delinquents had made it to better sec schools. One even quit school to run his own financial consultancy firm with two friends. All at the tender age of 18. He'd told me that they were doing well.
Er.... u sure they are not AH LONG/runner?

This make me recall the 1st meeting held by the form teacher to the parents this January. The teacher requested us to let her know whoever child cannot tahan scold in the class and she would handle them differently. However, all parents just keep quite and may be this make the teacher's job easier.
Wow, this teacher will make a very good project manager, can anticipate and nipped problems before they arise. A very sort-after trait in the private sector :celebrate:

A friend of my whose son is a slow learner went to NT in sec sch complained to mummy that he couldn't hear when the teacher is teaching. He said that while the teacher is teaching, more than half the class are talking or playing cards and sometimes even smoking behind the class. The teacher just act blur like nothing had happened. It's like what we see in movie....
Unfortunately Not ALL students get to be posted to \"TOP\" school in their secondary years.
Many end up in NA, NT, etc .... (My God, Not even Express Stream!)

So what are our kids to DO when they are in these classes? (Transferring Out to Another school is Not an Option!)
Sure and bound to have other students who are not there to study, who smoke, who make noise in the class, who fights, who join gangs, ......

                        Thank you Daddy D.
                        DD's first birthday this Saturday.
Cake will be exact of the pic but with her name on it.
Total cost for 3kg, 2-tier cake, S$94, hope to feed 30 family members.
DD is the first and only grandchild (thus far) for both our families, so ....
The top-pink tier is strawberry shortcake flavor for the adults.
The green-lower tier is lychee-martini flavor for the kiddos.

                        And I agree with you.
If you have not started, DON'T.

DH has never bought me any flowers nor chocolates either.
He'd commented to his friends and family that if I were a motorbike, I would be 125cc. I don't know whether to  or 😢
