Mediacorp should produce a drama on the problems these maids give us. Don't just portray them as poor things...suffering at the hands of employers. We have to pay so much for them to come and suffer their attitude problems.all these horror stories of maid should be made into a movie

Sorry to sidetrack,
But anyone here has any recommendations of good vacuum cleaners? Currently using the magic mop as ex maid spoilt my vacuum cleaner.. I m the kind tat can't stand dust or strands of hair on the floor... So i basically magic mop my floor every night after my kids slp and mop the flr twice a week .. damn tiring esp since am a FTWM with 3 young kids..

I would suspect that using magic mop is much much easier then using a vacuum cleanerβ¦ only thing is that it is more exp $$$$β¦
Given a choice, I would rather use magic clean mop than the vacuum cleaner, if not for the $$$$. -
Has anyone tried the Spin and Go mop cum pail as shown on TV ads? Would like to hear some feedback from those who have used it. Thanks

I don't use vacuum cleaner because I don't like to drag them along and have to keep adjusting the wire behind me (cos the one I used to have is not those fanciful one). I am using magic mop but with those \"cheapo\" paper so I don't get heartpain as I throw away each piece and I use them doublesided. And I can't live without my spin-n-go type (dunno exactly which brand cos there are variations in the market) of mop, very easy to dry the mop and mopping has never been easier (to me)

I saw the demo at one NTUC fairprice. If the spin pail or whatever parts spoilt, any replacement? The whole set is not cheap, about $70 (mop cum pail). -

I tried that too, the magic mop with \"cheapo\" paper but I still feel not clean enough. Finally settle with this light vacuum cleaner - dyson. I am very surprised by the dust it collects. Its like I have to clear the dust container every 3 vacuums. My house floor so dirty????
