        Hi buds

I tried at home turning on the aircon and fan at the same time. The air seems to be a bit warm as compared to fully aircon.

Currently DD in CC, can't find any CC for DS. Hope to put them in the same CC. If worse comes to worst, I'll put DS in a different CC 😢

        buds:
So... it's actually not better for you right?

Should be worse if aircon AND fan is turned on at the same time?

Thanks bud for your views. I've raised the concern to the boss bit she told me that the teachers are experienced and trained, so ok. To me actually , most impt is for the teachers to be patient and caring 🙂

Actually I think turning on the fan WITH the aircon is a good option to make the place warmer and air circulating better.

When my child gets blocked nose or flu, my PD asked whether my child is used to air-con environment. If he is used to it, then turn the air-con AND turn on the fan with low speed just to help air circulating better.
Sometimes I turn on air-con and open the window a little bit.

So at home it's either fan or air-con WITH fan.

This just make me tempted to go to see the school

              buds:
Chatelaine... i think sunset_dae meant they turned on the fan while the
aircon is also on. Sunset_dae... do correct me if i am wrong. 😉

                      Hi drumstick

Y'day New Life call me saying no vacancy for my DD. Amazing Star chances seem to be very slim too 😢

Hopefully those CC that I want quickly call me back 🙏

As long as the principal isn't taking/teaching your child's class personally
i think it is okay, drumstick. :hugs: Cos the idea of putting our children in
a Montessori centre is to directly expose them to the methodology & hope
to help them learn constructively. On top of it, most Montessori centres are
charging slightly higher, it is natural as parents we expect a lil' more... be
it quality teachers, quality curriculum, clean and safe environment to name
a few. Do check out the menu as well. For Muslim friends, do remember to
find out if the cook/principal purchases poultry that are halal certified from
                        the supermarkets.

This is true, ya know.. Nearing year-end period more parents will be on a
frantic search for childcare centres and other pre-school options... especially
when parents start applying for year-end leave. Can i suggest you opt for
trial lesson? I think they should offer between 2 weeks to 1mth time frame
but without subsidy. If you decide to enrol they will minus off from your 1st
month fee or something... This practice varies between individual childcare
set-ups, so don't take my word for it. Find out more if they offer such an
                        arrangement.

As for Mulberry, if your child is happy there & the only issue is the growing
number of student intake, you can still consider to stay put. After all, the
staff did assure parents that they will be adding additional manpower to
measure up with the ratio of children in a class.

Amazing Star CCK is still considered a new set-up which i believe in time to
come, they too will have more and more students. As long as the children's
needs are met and exemplary care can be given to the children without
short-changing any of them or the current parents who've been supporting
                        them... it is fine.

Centres do need to be mindful of their profit margin to ensure they can still
survive in the competitive pre-school market and not leave parents in the
lurch to find another in the event they kui ben (backrupt/don't make money)
and have to fold up the centre.

That is just sharing from another perspective. 😄
