Good idea, this is one for the memories. But since nobody in my family likes to wake up super early, most likely will take picture the night before.
May I suggest the following :
Day 1 of the Pri 1 - before leaving home, make sure get up super early, dress up the boy in his brand new & crisp school uniform, name tag on, and take a family portrait, and his personal portrait
that will be super memorable, it will be the wall paper for your mobile phone and computers (home & work) -

Just to check, are students allowed to wear PE attire the whole week? I feel that it is definitely more comfortable in tees & shorts under our hot weather. If allowed to, I'll go ahead & get 4 sets of PE attire & only 2 sets of uniform.
My advice is to get 3 sets of PE attire as well. In P1 sometimes they have 3 PE days per week. Besides, if the uniform runs out, you can still wear PE attire to school even if no PE, but not vice versa if you have PE. -

Uhmm...nobody will stop your ds if you planned to let him do that. One of my dd's P1 classmates was pretty small size so she used to wear her PE attire everyday cos her uniform was still rather big for her. However, it's still important to get used to wearing the uniform cos during the main exam papers, the kids are required to put on their full-uniforms as hall PE will be suspended.

I din know that! We are quite fortunate, my girl inherited 5 sets of uniform and 4 sets of PE attires from her twin cousins. They even shared the same house, Mark.

PH has a varieties of uniform designs, at least 3 for girls. They keep changing design. PE pants also different.

Don't forget your DS may outgrow the PE attire fast, not advisable to buy too many. Buy slightly bigger size is recommended.

That's great. My sons are sharing the PE shorts. But not t-shirt because they belong to different houses.

In that case, better let him wear uniform once in a while. Maybe I'm baised, but I thought that PH boys' uniform design looks smart & girls' uniform design simple and elegant.

3 sets of PE attire and 2 set of Uniform will be sufficient.

At this age they grow very fast.
Apart from the PE lesson, they also has mass PE/CCA stuff.
They will do Mass PE/CCA like Wushu and Gynas stuff.
My P1 DD only wear unifrom once a week and the other 4 days in PE attire.
However like what E3 said on Exam days .. they will only wear uniforms. -
