Just now my DS called. PAper A was easy… had 10 - 15 mins 2 check…

His friends also felt the same.
Hope the same happens with Paper B!!!

I’m sure Math will be easy/not difficult this year. After the killer Math paper last year they won’t give a difficult one this year. Which means it’s not good for those who excel in Math.

yr posting reminds me of last year.....
think i was the first to talk abt the Maths Paper 1 in this forum
when my gal called bk during the break that it wasn't that easy even for Paper 1, (never had she said that b4)
which made me worried for the Paper 2......... and true enuff

Yes, last year's Math paper was traumatic. So many tears during and after the paper, and so many parents complaining after.

If this year is easy, then next year by dd time will most likely difficult.

if the idea is to distinguish between the good- better and best then every year should have that set up.

FRom a talk arranged by school (speaker from NIE board or something) this is what he said. It is the impression that most have that this year diff, this year not but that is not the objective. As there are no complete papers available , most of us cant judge. That said of course the students give excellent feedback so there must be a point about the difficulty levels but The big question is , is it intentional ?
