so for this yr they have to do something abt it.......
just like the 2007 PSLE Maths, thereafter 2008 was an easy paper
but i personally found that the 2007 Maths paper wasn't that difficult,
of course, i could only see those questions which were available and not the exact copy,
any1 would like to input yr view on this??[/quote]I think the 2007 paper (at least for the 'difficult' questions highlighted) wasn't that difficult. My niece who was P4 at the time could solve all of them. BUT solving a question in the comfort of your home with no pressure is very different from trying to solve it in an exam hall with a time restriction. -
easy as cheese, one of the easiest papers I’ve done. Lost 4 marks due to carelessness though, was correcting halfway when invigilator said pens down. grrr

Super easy paper. DS had more than 1 hour for checking. Many of his classmates are confident of scoring full marks.

That's comforting news! However, I think that when the paper is perceived to be easy, the kids tend to be more careless. Hope this is not the case for all the kids though.

DS said paper 2 was a terror! Very challenging. Would like to find out from parents out there how your kids find it?
not to offend your ds i found it easy i posted the answers on the psle buzz thread check it out!! All the best to your ds :celebrate:

This is certainly the case for my DS. He finished both papers in less than half the time given. Although he checked and checked, still made at least 1 careless mistake.

Just called my 2 students.
One told me that the whole papers are very easy. She has confident to score A*.
Another one told me that the whole papers are very difficult.

It was one of the easiest papers I've ever attempted, took 30 minutes to complete. But I hate the way MOE puts the more difficult questions at the front though, I actually panicked a bit.
