Sure a high mean pulls down one’s T-score but it usually means a low SD which pulls up the T-score. I agree there will be a lot of ties but when it comes to the highest, i don’t see why does anyone have to be so overly concerned. It won’t be affected right?

What happens when two kids get the same raw scores for all 4 subjects? :?

Near impossible. However, if it happens with both kids fighting for the same school, I will let both get into the school (the school got buffer one) - unfortunately I am not in charge.

This was discussed last year also during PSLE - conclusion : unlikely to happen.

I agree. Someone from MOE told me that it is near impossible for two people to have the same aggregate.

                  15 decimal places

I was initially told (years ago) it was up to 6 decimals and I was already like  .

Over the years, it seems like the digits behind the decimal point have increased (due to \"inflation\"? ). I wonder if it is really needed for 15 decimal places 😐

but anyway, these days it is all in the super computer in MOE, they can chop off at whichever decimal places they want
