That's interesting. What are your duties?

My duties were mainly clerical, you know the photostating, filing, typing kind of stuff. I was sitting amongst the HODs. And I can tell that those HODs don't have it easy man. There are just so many admin tasks and paperwork to complete. Just imagine as long as one parent per class sends them an email/message daily, they will be overwhelmed with liaison work liao. And this is not even their main job function.

Next time must tell ds if want to go into education, better teach at poly level, keke.[/quote]Teaching is a tough job.
      Main Job = Teaching
Side Job = admin, counselling, meeting, CCA, meet the parents, handle complaint, etc etc

The FT emailed the results are released to the teachers this afternoon.

The Ft is from which class ? So all the selected students are informed already?
So how many students are selected for Gep selection ? and do you know from which class?

Sorry I dun know these: which class, how many pupils or all selected are informed already.

I was told by my P3 boy's FT (HU3) as I emailed her to ask.

hi hi!! My DS1 is going to be in Loyalty too… was wondering how many classes there will be for Primary 1. We’re thinking of getting more PE attires as well, so that he can be more comfortable… heh heh… I didn’t realise that school uniforms can be so expensive!!!

Yes, the uniforms are expensive, esp the bigger sizes. Kids can ‘expand’ pretty fast in P1 with 3 days of PE (hungrier and eat more during recess and after school), so don’t get too many.

Really? That week must be the GO at its most efficient...

                Haha, maybe, maybe 😉

Hi mrsbongz, so our ds will be classmates. There are 11 P1 classes of 30 pupils each this yr. The good thing about the sch uniforms is that I only intend to buy 2 sets after advice from PH parents. Btw, are you a pv or church member?

The EL and CL teachers for Loyalty 1 for the past two years were Mdm Tan Lea Nah and 秦老师. Both are kind, hardworking teachers but my dd told me 秦老师 left PHPPS this term. I am not sure whether Mdm Tan will continue taking Loyalty 1 next year though. If she does, your kids will be in good hands. 😉

I prefer the FT to be the strict kind. Cos in childcare even the cleaner commented to me that ds is very playful. If even cleaner also can tell, then 100% confirm ds must be super playful. At childcare, there is this prc teacher that is super strict, and ds said he is both scared of her but likes her at the time.

That is the type of teacher that ds needs. I need a 'tigress' to keep that monkey in check.
