Hello! I'm taking PSLE Science tomorrow too!

Well, here's a list that I can think of right now.

      Magnetic Materials:

      Iron
      Steel
      Cobalt
      Nickel

My science teacher says we only need to know iron and steel. πŸ™‚

      Electrical Conductors:

      Water
      Metals

      Heat Conductors:
      Metal

Common Electrical Insulators would be plastic and rubber.
Common Electrical Conductors would be iron, steel etc. Water and carbon are also electrical conductors.

      Wow, thanks.
And while you're here, i just wanna clear some doubts. Is copper an electrical/heat conductor and/or a magnet? O.O

Oh and, I don't remember where, but i read somewhere that steel isn't a natural magnet, and that it needs to be magnetised.. is that true?

      Hello again.xD.

I'm no science expert but as far as I know from my notes, steel is an alloy.
And copper is non magnetic but is an electrical conductor.
It is also a heat conductor.
I got my answers from powerpoint slides done by my class and from the web.[/quote]Thanks.. i'll just remember steel is an alloy although i don't know what an alloy is.
      Good luck for tomorrow.. πŸ™‚
do you mind me asking what school you're from?

As long as we knew Iron and Steel its okay.

Hmm I make notes with reference to guide books, and make powerpoint slides, I read my guide books, listen to teacher, attend optional science classes and do practices.

I’m confused about the different beaks of birds and their uses.

Can someone give me a consolidated list of the various beaks and their uses?

                    Thanks.
