Hi E3
Thanks! PSLE is finally over! Liberated  -
DS going p1 come 2011. The checklist from sch didnโt mention anything about shoes? Are shoes that are basically white in colour but with some coloured logos/designs acceptable in principle?
Is ds allowed to wear branded shoes (I feel adidas shoes are very comfortable) or must he stick to plain brandless shoes? Iโm not trying to spoil ds but from my experience, cheap brandless shoes tend to hurt my feet while doing sports? So this consideration is more coming from the health angle.
Simple qn I know but there is really no guideline from sch regarding this aspect so far. Thanks. -

There was one year I bou adidas white sch shoes (from Sportslink @ West Mall) for my children. No complaint from the teachers.DS going p1 come 2011. Look out for Sportslink newspaper advert during the year end hols. The stock usu. comes in during year end. Unfortunately stock for small sizes are limited and they sell out very quickly. So must be fast hand fast leg  -

Hi markfch,we're actually under 2a2masshiro:
Hi markfch and Mrs Bongz, my son going to be in Loyalty 1 too next year. I think I'm more excited than him
Another boy in Loyalty 1. Looks like this class will have lots of boys then. Someone just told me Loyalty & Peace 1 are p2b classes. I heard that this yr when the sch asked for help from parents of existing students, more than half of Loyalty 1 parents volunteered. The reason is that they're so used to volunteering as pv that they don't mind continuing. Hope we can maintain that record.
So see you around these corners in the coming yrs.

My DH is old sch boy, so nope we did not PV..
But we both plan to be more involved, as we find it's the best way to know our boy better.. It's good to know that the teachers are well-recommended.. fierce teachers are sometimes better as kids will pay more attention!!
We r thinking of getting more PE attire too, as my DH remembers tearing his sleeves very often when playing in sch!! think PE attire can be more lasting??
Haha...i wonder if you hubby was my ex classmate then
cos we used to play police catch thief and it's always the girls catching the boys...so the boys always went back with their shirts torn

Hi markfch,we're actually under 2a2 :D
Loyalty 1 will have kids from 2A2 and 2B. Remaining kids from 2B will go to Peace 1. Tne no of each phase can't be group into class of 30 exactly....From this year no, kids from 2B should go to Loyalty 1 and Peace 1 after allocating kids from P1 and P2A2. School allocates the class according to the registration phase.markfch:
