Village Girl:
I only received the Orientation date for my younger girl too. I think there would be another letter to tell us when to buy books/uniforms before the Orientation date as kids need to wear uniform on their Orientation day. If i remembered correctly, they would informed us of the kid's tentative class too.[/quote]
My friend only received that too.Vevey:

Btw, I saw from earlier posts that we are supposed to get their uniforms/books prior orientation. It was stated that the orientation date is 22 Nov but I did not rec'd any letters for purchase of anything, am I missing something? :?:
Perhaps things r done differently this yr?
Thanks for the info, Vevey & Village Girl
Btw, I understand that the kids will end their class by 6.30pm, I am still cracking my brains on how I can arrange to pick my DS from school next yr since I hv to OT on most days, sigh... -
Suaku_mum:
It's 6pm on Wed & 6.30pm on other days. Latest that we had ever pick DS up is half an hour after sch & only 1-2 kids left at the gate by then.

We hv considered arranging for sch bus to pick him up after sch. But the nearest relative is in Kallang area and we are just living diagonally opp NCPS, sigh. Kinda poor thing cos I will be sending DS to before sch care in the morning, DS will be totally burnt out by time we fetch him home ard 9+ at night if he goes to Kallang, haiz... If only I can find someone near my place to fetch him fr sch n gives him dinner

Hi Vevey & Village Girl,
Thanks for the suggestion, this sure helps
Village Girl, is it possible to help me find out the rates that your colleague is paying the bbsitter?
Btw, any fellow parent here can offer bbsitting svc for my DS attending P1 in NCPS next year or know of anyone who offer such svc? I need help to fetch him from sch & provide dinner and can fetch him by 8 or 8.30 latest :?: -
hi parents,
any idea if the school library has some opening hours or if there is any lunch hours? I called the school but they said it is open all the time but sometimes its closed for some things (???). My kiddo says that sometimes when he goes before class starts, the library is closed. -
Not too sure about the opening hours. But my son told me before the library is not open all the time.
