Quintessential Mum:
How is the opinion expressed hurtful and baseless? In the same way, the opinions praising her could also be considered baseless by others who do not share the same opinion. The issue here is to respect another person's point of view even if you do not agree with them and also hope that otheres will respect own opinion that may be contrasting.
OK, we respect your view.csc:
Oh please - why get so defensive? May be there are people out there who have a different opinion of the NJC prinicipal and they are entitled to express it. If you do not agree with them. just ignore the opinion. In the same vein, there were others who praised her and they are entitled to do so as they have a right to express an opinion too. As to whether it is useful, it is up to the individual to decide.

u are right. We are entitled to express our opinions but they should not be hurting and baseless.
So , Jennifer is merely expressing hers...that the particular comment is not useful at all.
I have the same opinion too.
When my boys fight and end up with one party saying \"YES\" and the other saying \"NO\", it is only going round the bush. Not the least helpful at all.
Since we are all mature adults who have agreed to disagree, let's just stop this discussion now. -

wow....seems that NJC pupils have to stay away from home for quite a few weeks.....besides the compulsory boardingdunnoleh:
I intend to bring an air purifier for DD's room when checking in this Sunday, any ideas on brand/model?
again not coming back on Friday this week.
this is one of the factor which holds back for some parents when choosing the school (at least for me)
will be very worrisome for not seeing our child
that is from the parents' perspective. My take is that boarding is generally good for the child; or at least for mine. She has become more independent, more mature .. and very importantly, more appreciative of family time ...

but making boarding a compulsory issue leaves parents with no option....
the kids already shown appeciation when they come home from yearly camping, just merely few days without parents by their side
no need \"to torture\" them or us, parents, further.....
anyway, just personal perference
