Agreed with Jedamum that Berries so far is strong in thier preschool programme. I had transfered my DD from Molin early this year. Can said thier lesson is interesting, hopefully I do hope the centre can solve the makeup lessons for lesson fall on a PH.
Hi titank,
How is Molin? Was there a reason you quit to join Berries? I am deciding between Tien Hsia, Berries and Molin. -
Would appreciate recommendations / feedback on which enrichment centre is particularly strong for primary level Chinese composition component. Thanks.

I had compared the materials of Molin, Tien Hsia & Berries & find that Berries do have a better edge. In the 1st place I thought Molin would be suitable for my DD but it did not turn out to be.. I guessed Molin is more suitable for P3 onwards.titank:

Hi titank,
For P1-P2, is Berries still the best? I m also thinking if to switch my DD when she goes to P1. Any advice?titank:

I switch my DD to Tien Hsia after going thru one year with Molin. No doubt the materials are slightly tougher in Molin than TH, I would personally felt that my child is more motivated in TH than Molin. Hence, my conclusion is one man’s meat is another man’s poison. As parents, we just need to trial and test.

My DS is with Yuquan Language School since the beginning of the year, so far still find it ok but would also at the same time see there are other chinese enrichment centre. Maybe can consider Xueni, Eduplus, Tien Hsia etc. So far find that Berries is the most expensive among all & with the Public Holiday with no replacement or makeup, definitely would hurt the parent’s pocket more.
Recently also saw some language school set up class in those RC Centre, maybe would also can consider to evaluate them

Hi titank,
Thanks for your reply. My 3 kids are in Berries, which I agree is really costly. But I m thinking if Berries is still suitable for Primary level, if not I will do a switch.
I will need to find out more about other centres and feedback from parents.titank:

It is always good to evaluate & when necessary pull the handbrake if you find something is not right for your kids. You have 3 definitely need to see how your pocket power can withstand.

Hi all parents out there. My daughter is currently in Secondary 1 this year and will soon be in Sec 2 next year. Her chinese results for the final year exams were horrible and i was so shocked because she had never done so badly in primary school before. is there any tuition centres that you can recommend? from what i have heard, Busy bees, Tien Hsia, Han and Jiang seems to be the most popular among the pupils. anyone who cares to share about the approach that each centre uses? Thanks in advance.

exposing ds2 to CL early seems a right move cos he is more motivated to speak mandarin at home than ds1. but still, i may be stopping ds2 some time next year when he reaches the syllabus that ds1 had had 4yrs ago - gonna self teach to save costs since going to let ds2 take up swimming too; then probably put ds1 in a compo class.
money money money...
