      Hi San76,

Thanks for taking the time to empathise... think I'm so down that hearing another person's voice is just comfort to me.

I have decided to see a lawyer to get a better sense of my options; from there I hope and pray that I will be able to make the right decisions.

      Thanks again!

              Blue Ocean,

Nobody wishes to be alone when they are down. There are much much people outside that is willing to help, just open up to them and all the advises you need will be there.

True, seeing a laywer is one of the option, dont forget their profession. Pardon me if I said something wrong. Please seek a mediator from help centre or church, though you need not to be the same religion. Listen to what they can advise... Sitting alone at home wont solve the problem. It will makes you more miserable.

Tell you something harsh, but you have to accept. Since it is the fact, stand up and move on. The kids still needs you.

All the best to you. Take care.

                    Hi BlueOcean

Sorry that can’t be of much help. Theres a toll free hotline that you can call whenever you need a listening ear, they are trained volunteers who lend very good listening ears. Its manned by Care Corner, they are a family service centre, hotline number is: 1800 3535 800.

                        Counselling will help i guess...

But only if both parties are
                        willing to push and honestly
make it work. No point going
                        for counselling but remain
                        sceptical and defensive thru
                        out...

One of my old girlfriend tried,
                        but the hubby always didn't
                        turn up. The counsellor called
the hubby a couple of times
only to get a rude shock of
an answer. He was 1
of those guys who was always
                        out womanizing, with local girls
                        and foreigners... just for kicks.
My girlfriend has 4 kids, from
an infant to early primary, back
then. We have since lost touch.

                        I'm saddened by sharings like
these as it's unfair to the wife
and children. One needs to get
                        away with only one temptation
to continue doing it over and
                        over again..
