Class photos... $2.50 for 3R, $3 for 4R and $4 for 8R. And it's not only one each. Hate when schools use this to make money. :roll:
As for the exams... has it been confirmed whether they'll be used for anything other than as a gauge for us? There was something about the whole class, possibly including the teachers, going up to P2 together as a group. I think this isn't too bad, since they're used to each other and there's no need to adjust to the people. -

You mean the same class going up together to primary 2? Therefore that is no internal streaming at the end of the term 4? -

This may not be a good idea as the more intellectual ones may form an imaginary complacency mode because they think they are performing well.
On the hand, there is less adjustments and weaker ones can benefit as they do not feel ostracize. -

We should suggest to the school to provide soft copies instead :idea: ...Yes, once again we are at their mercy...

titank, I see you've gone into the EPPS thread to ask about the principal. While I'm not overly concerned about the general effect of a principal on a child's future (long term, big picture), skimming through that thread doesn't exactly fill me with confidence. Oh, and I had a \"roll my eyes and groan\" moment when I saw their classes were named Loyalty, Courage etc. I sincerely hope that was not the principal's idea.
Also, I thought Elias Park is a reasonably popular school. How come that thread oni 4 pages nia? Like not interesting one.
