Hi,Hi
I am a full-time working mum and am not able to help coach them as much as I want to, except on weekends. My 2 DDs are fairly average students, but my DH and I always share with them the importance of effort and daily revision of their school work to stay abreast. After school, they walk to their Student Care Centre nearby where they have their lunch, rest and complete their homework (hopefully) before I pick them up in the evenings. Rgds
My gal is going to P1 next year. Do you mind sharing which BASC?
Normally what time will your DDs be able to complete their homework?
TIA -

. How do they go about on their selection? :roll:osomum:
thanks for the info
My DD is only 2 this year, will try for PV when she turns 4 yrs old
FYI, is not easy to get into PV, normally they only select about 50 PV out of 250+ applicant. -

How do they go about on their selection?
The above applicant, I'm refering Rulang. Of course, no harm trying it (like me), but just wanna let u know that not all PVs will get selected, unless u r very sure u can get, u might want to hv some alternative routes. just my view.
Dun know, expertise and contribution that can benefit the school or students bah? So diff schools diff requirement. -

Not sure if it will still be based on the same criteria when it is your turn in 3 years time. For now, you are required to fill up forms and describe how you are able to contribute in the various areas in the School Thrust.
Thereafter, you will be called for interview to share with the school in further details.
As for the final selection on who will be the accepted, that no one really know the details or if the same applies every year..
Anyway, good luck! :celebrate: -

Hi
They have been with Pro-Teach since they were N2/P1. From P1 to P3, homework can usually be completed at the BASC. Pro-Teach allows them about 1.5 hours to do their homework. Thereafter, the kids are allowed some time to go outdoors to play, have their teabreak or take a hot shower. This is followed by daily tuition for the 4 subjects (one subject a day, abt 4/4.30-6pm if they are at the BASC in the afternoons). Fridays are usually for the kids to do some extra assessment revision books.
However, now that my 2 DDs are in upper primary, they participate in CCAs and many other activities. They can't really complete their homework at the BASC. Sometimes when the topics get too demanding, they stay up till past 11pm to get them done. Must realy be tiring for the kids.
Is your DD/DS also enroling into Rulang next year? Rgds
