The top scorer in her class got 100. She must be very careful in checking her work.
Almost one third of CH2 scored 100 for Math. The lowest is a high band 1. -

OMG....so competitive. Come next year, PH will probably lose many of them to GEP schools....what a waste....sigh.....Mummy58:

May I know what is MIA?Hi hi to all new mummies and daddies! Very very Warm Welcome!
I've been MIA for a long time! Kids exams are over so I'm really relieved and enjoying myself.
Hello Comfy,
My dd luvs Charlie and Lola too! The series had enthralled her since K1 and she still reads them sometimes! I have the CDs in English. If dd has the CDs, I'm sure she watches and re-watches them right? If you don't hv, feel free to PM me and I can pass to you!
I have another Chinese author besides Wu Mei Zhen. She is Wang Su-Fen. The series I read was \"Wei Jun Shang Xue\" aka Wei Jun goes to school. The P1 and P2 books she wrote has HanYuPingYin. You can find her books in the library. Author has great sense of humor. I laughed as much as I did when I read Wu Mei Zhen's \"Ah Dai yu Ah Gua\", great series as well! All available from the library!
Cheers!
Rach
Glad to hear your dd like the C & L series. Do you happen to have the chinese CD by chance? This Wang Su Fan's books can be found in the school library or national/community libraries? -
Hi Comfy,
Nope, unfortunately I dont hv the Chinese CDs, just the Eng ones.
You can find Wang Su Fen’s books in the National Library. I found mine from Jurong East library.
Cheers! -
My dd didn't do well for her math SA2, quite disappointed as she told me that it was an easy paper. Well, no chance of entering GEP,
Have to wait for the rest of her subjects before deciding what to buy/do to help her. The CL P2 is marked rather strict, as none of her class got full mark. I think PHPPS CL marking are getting tougher as the level go up. I asked dd whether the CL teacher taught how to answer comprehension O&E. DD said no. Hence not surprise at the poor result at that section :x Maybe need to outsource this part. -
Thks, periwinklejoy, will check with dd’s first about the C&L CD. Have to ask again what is MIA?

I can imagine you beaming from ear to ear during that delightful day. You know how I know? Cos that will be my expression if I can be lucky as you in future. As a matter of fact, I won't be able to sleep the night before too. So happy I'll be. Makes all the sacrifices worth it, isn't itbut will always remember the pride and joy going up the stage to receive trophy with him then.

Same for the P2 CL pp2. The Open-ended compre was not easy. Passage was relatively easy to understand but the questions asked were not so straightforward. No full marks in her class. My dd had been doing P3 compre open-ended, those that require own opinions kind of questions assessment book instead of P2 ones. If she had not done so, I couldn't imagine what kind of marks would she had attained.
IJJ also commented that the CL Open-ended compre for P3 was tough. I guess PH is possibly raising the HCL standard.
