Used to know someone who wanted a boy so badly that he ended up having 13 girls in 12 years

My uni friend is the youngest of 11 brothers, no girl luck for his parents. His older brothers are all 1.8m and above in height and fair of face. He is the shortest at 1.6m and has dark skin.

I quote him verbatim: \"When my parents had my brothers, it was BANG! BANG! BANG! from my father; But when they had me at the end, it was b-a-n---------g... from my father; I got the remnants of our genetic pool.\"

My Mummy is the youngest of 15.
My uncle is the oldest and the rest of his younger siblings are all girls.

      So go figure 😐

I can attest to that... My kids are only 11 months apart. My eldest is a year end baby, otherwise they could have been born in the same year.

I read that doing it nearer to ovulation will have higher chance of conceiving a boy. So besides her prediction, I also followed this method. So far it seems to work.

When I looked back at the timing that my boys are conceived, I also agree with u. I also read this somewhere that the sperm (can't remember x or y) that leads to a boy can only survive for a day whilst the sperm that leads to a girl can survive for up to 3 days or so. That explained why this method leads to a boy. My kids are boy, girl, boy and girl. The girls are \"surprises\".... šŸ˜„

Googled and found these two links ....

                http://www.babygenderprediction.com/

Anyone can attest to any of the methods/suggestions?? šŸ˜„
autumnbronze, I did validate the prediction one afterthe fact.

DD2 and DD3 are in the 5% case - i.e., not according to the chart! heheh!@

My in-laws believe that the baby gender is dependent on the family gender gene. That means, if your parents tend to have all or more boys than girls, then you would most likely have boys too.

My mum has only sisters and daughters; so they figure my chances of having a son is low.

Honestly, I don't really care. Neither does DH. Like duriz, we are contented and happy to have DD. And I don't want to play God. I believe it's all fated. But I just feel kindda 'looked down upon' by my in-laws cos I haven't got a son. šŸ˜ž

tell your in-laws it's the sperm that decides whether it's XX or XY.

so their son contributed the deciding factor, nothing to do with you. šŸ™‚

If you want a boy and a girl, you should move to Bishan. In our circle of friends in the neighbourhood, we all have a boy and a girl. šŸ˜‰
Then I may have to move to Bishan :rotflmao: 😐

My uncles were joking about this and all heads turned to my cousins-in-law and started laughing.

The older generation thinks it's according to the 'family gene'. My uncle had 3 girls, all his girls have boys (Total of 10 male grandsons).
So they kept joking that his grandsons will have all girls but my uncle proudly said,\"Nothing to do with my daughters, it's all their husbands' faults!\"
