prisnkc:
Hi prisnkc, both are published by EPB-PanPac.
Which publishers are these two books under?E3:
ζζ―ι θ―»η解ι«ζ (Comprehension Champion). This book has questions focussed on asking only own opinions and analytical questions. The only problem is there will be some characters that she had not learnt but understanding is still fine.
As for the P4 compo book, she uses ζδΌη,ζ³,ε (Look.Think.Write) The scenarios are based on 4 pictures. -

What I know is that PH don't train stds in lower Pri.[/quote]Too late to start training at P5/P6, regardless of whether PH trains or not. Math Olympiad is just non-routine Math questions in higher-older thinking so as long as it's within the syllabus, it can appear in exams. It's not really necessary for school to \"train\". For parents who are not familiar will just think that they are the \"tricky\" questions but for those familiar ones, they know these questions can be found in the Math Olympiad books in the market. One question came out EXACTLY for P1 SA2 last year from her Math Olympiad book, my dd used to spot for such questions then, nowadays, it's simply \"packaged\" in the Math papers so don't even bother to trace them anymore. -

What do you think?

Definitely not all. Pupils to be recommended by the class MA teacher and then to be approved by the HOD MA. According to my elder boy's MA teacher, the training is heavily subsidied by the school, the pupil pays only a nominal fee like $50 for 8 lessons which is 2 or 2.5 hours on a non-supplementary lesson day, usu. During my elder boy's time, the MO service provider was HOTHOUSE. Not sure if next year will still be by them (I said this becos I saw some MathHubs personnel leaving the sch compound ard 1.30pm. Maybe come to intro their services.) -
markfch:
If you hv seen samples of exam papers for MA, then you wld see such MO qns appearing in section B, usu 1 to 2 qns. U want your boy to score full marks, then need to start on these.
