PSLE Intensive Preparation Programmes

I heard that Norman is quite good but not sure whether he is the one that will be teaching. How much is the intensive hol program? Mathshub @ Bukit Batok is about $400+ for 2 weeks.

what is the results that they are guaranteeing ? And intensive Maths for 5 days ? I don't think the child can take it. Is it 5 continuous days ?

BTW, I remembered last year when my son was in P6, there was somebody organizing such programs and he uses RI campus for it. It was popular and cost about 100+, for 1 day lesson. This was done on a yearly basis, after the Prelims and before the PSLE. So he will take all the current year Prelims Maths paper from the top schools and use them in the class.

Gosh! That's really expensive... Personally, I feel that the child will be too tired out to assimiliate concepts taught at the end of day and worst, at the end of week.

Actually, out of the 4 PSLE subjects, the easiest to score A* is Maths and next is MT... followed by Science and English .

Helpful in what sense, can elaborate ? Able to share with us what's the 'before and after' diff in math score ? I'm sure parents who send their kids to such course are at looking at immediate, tangible benefits.

Cant you just download schools exam papers from misskoh.info?

Personally, I find Norman's $1800 programme ridiculous. 2nd, i doubt a child at 12 years old can handle so much in a week. Probably they just want to squeeze your money in as short a time as possible so they can spent the other three weeks squeezing other parents' money.
